Bella's Haven for Strays

Founded in 1994 by a retired teacher named Alice, Bella’s Haven for Strays started with one lost puppy found outside Alice’s front door. Named after her beloved first dog, Bella, Alice decided to devote her time to caring for homeless animals. The shelter began in her garage, where she lovingly cared for the strays until they could be adopted. Today, Bella’s Haven is known for its community outreach programs, rescuing abandoned pets and finding them forever homes.
